It’s April 2024! The Theory Brew team has just wrapped up our latest
interior renovation and are excited to welcome the community back into our space.

 Meet OUR TEAM

  • Kelti B.

    Co-Founder + Managing Owner

    Kel is our Managing Owner and responsible for all things Theorybrew. From logistics to sales, marketing to book-keeping, there is very little she doesn’t know about our brewery.

    Kel graduated the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2012. She is a local history enthusiast, beer lover, and avid community builder. In her limited spare time she loves hanging out with her husband Matt, and enjoying life in Southern Alberta.

  • Kris F.

    Co-Founder + Brew Master

    Kris Fischer is our Brew Master and the master-mind behind some of our crazier experimental brews.

    Kris is a Chemistry Instructor at the University of Lethbridge, and holds a Master’s in Organic Chemistry. He is the scientific brain, and mechanical tinker, behind our innovative brew-house and methodologies. Kris is also a dedicated member of the Lethbridge Medieval Club and is an armoured combatant.

  • Matthew L.

    Brewer

    Matt is our resident brewer who hails from the world of metallurgy.

    Matt's love of science, art, and beer had him seeking work in the brewing industry. By 2016 after many hours of packaging and cellaring, he became a brewer at a microbrewery in the UK. Matt has recently come to call Lethbridge home. In his spare time Matt enjoys home cooking, camping and kayaking in foreign lands

  • Genna B.

    Live Music Coordinator + Bartender

    Genna is our go-to-events guru, planning an incredible year of live music events at the brewery! She can often be found working the tasting room or setting up for shows inside and on the patio. She loves to chat all things music and beer!

    Genna is also the Executive Director of local Campus Radio Station CKXU 88.3 FM which, if you’re ever in Lethbridge, definitely tune in!

  • Kayla G.

    Bartender

    Kayla is our resident jack-of-all-trades! From brewing beer and serving pints to picking up a hammer to help with renos, she’s done it all!

    When Kayla isn’t working the tasting room, you can find her at Empower Pole Fitness in downtown Lethbridge! Kayla is one of the co-owners and teaches a variety of fun classes - we highly recommend giving their classes a spin!
